RA court of general jurisdiction in Syunik ruled to take measures to prevent the danger threatening to the health and life of Shahumyan residents in Kapan that resulted from Deno Gold Mining Company’s [part of Dundee Precious Metals] underground and overground mining activity carried out in Shahumyan Mine…Shahumyan Town residents have brought an action to the court demanding to prevent the danger threatening to their life and health the cause of which is the large pit, the result of Deno Gold Mining CJSC’s activity. The company hasn’t taken any safety measure, placed any sign to warn about the pit or a fence.
