[Events during CSR day:] [1] Management in Complex Environments: How can companies deliver sustainable growth while supporting the fragile community in which they operate?...How can headquarters support managers in some of the world’s most complex environments? Discuss challenges like these with a panel of real life experts and hear what 100 country managers have to say about this in NIR’s recent publication Management in Complex Environments – Questions for Leaders...[2] Seminar on Private Sector based Peace Building, with a particular focus on Colombia...The key business organisation ANDI has been an important promoter in engaging the private sector to support a sustainable peace process for the benefit of society and the companies. Together with ANDI, NIR has been actively involved in this process through a long-term project aimed at promoting private sector support to peace building. Also Electrolux and Scania have contributed to the project through vocational training programmes; cases that are considered best practice by the Colombian government.
