The Business & Human Rights Resource Centre is at a critical point in its development. Our digital platform is home to a wealth of information on business and human rights, but hasn’t had a visual refresh for a number of years.

DEHP inspections find chemical [China]

Chinese mainland food and drug authorities have tested for DEHP, a toxic chemical used to shape plastics, in food products...produced by four companies…However, two Guangdong companies, Jiangmen Gaodi Food Ltd and Jiangmen Zhanwang Food Ltd, did not stop production…Both companies are owned by Taiwan-based food ingredients producer, Master Chu…The administration also banned imports of around 950 types of food and beverages produced by Taiwanese companies containing DEHP…
