Delhi rape case shakes up corporate India; companies take stock of women employees' safety

Three days after a woman was gang-raped and thrown out of a bus in New Delhi, it's not just the country's citizens that are grappling with alternating waves of shame, fear and anger. Corporate India is pounding with the same emotions, and although a number of companies officially parrot the line of having strong security measures aimed at ensuring the safety of women, there are furrowed brows in many boardrooms and corner-rooms.
