Digital Campaigner at ActionAid UK
We are soon to launch a new high profile campaign, and are developing the next phase of our Tax Justice campaign, which means now is an exciting time to join the Campaigns Team at ActionAid.
As Digital Campaigner you will help deliver campaign objectives, recruit supporters and engage different audiences. This will involve creating digital strategies as well as planning, producing and publishing high quality content. Digital projects will include video, widgets, microsites, graphics and other content and will include commissioning and managing external agencies where necessary. You will champion digital campaigning and help grow the digital capacity of the Policy Advocacy and Campaigns department. It will be important to have the ability to monitor and evaluate effectiveness and share learning to ensure we continually improve.
Strong experience of digital campaigning in a supporter based organisation should mean you have an excellent knowledge of digital engagement and campaigning online. You will know how to use social networks, blogging and other social media effectively, and how to write successful online content for a mixed range of audiences. A good knowledge of UK political processes is also a plus.
Your work will change policy and practice, create emotional connections, mobilise stakeholders and make a real difference.
Interviews will be held on the 6th/9th March 2015.
