Digital Campaigns Assistant at ActionAid UK
As a member of the Campaigns Team you will support the development and delivery of cutting edge digital campaigns. You will work across all areas of digital campaigning but will focus on our social media presence and tax justice campaigning in particular. You will get involved with developing strategy as well as hands-on delivery of digital activities. You will produce content and communications that extend our reach, raise our profile, recruit and engage supporters and help us achieve campaign objectives.
In addition you will monitor the impact of our work, share learning and help drive continuous development to maximise our effectiveness. We will also look to you to keep abreast of the latest developments and best practice thinking in the digital arena.
You must have some experience of digital campaigning in an organisation that engages with supporters or the public, as well as knowledge of digital engagement and using the internet as a campaigning tool. You will know how to use social networks, blogging and other social media effectively, and have some experience on writing online content for a mixed range of audiences. You will also have been involved in website creation and used Photoshop, CMS and HTML. Comfortable working in a team you will have good communication and organisational skills and the ability to handle multiple projects.
