At this critical crossroads in the United Nations’ efforts to prevent and protect people from business-related human rights abuses, this special event will bring together southern NGOs, community members directly affected by business human rights abuses and other experts to present their views and recommendations on what concrete steps are needed to help ensure that the Council's decisions on business and human rights are grounded in the experiences of those directly affected and to deepen its understanding of the existing gaps in protection.
