[DOC] Police Shoots At AliBaba Workers [So. Africa]

Police in Athlone shot at a crowd of female workers early this morning when they reported for duty to AliBaba in Athlone Industria. The company had embarked on an illegal lock-out after our members embarked on a temporary work stoppage yesterday in an attempt to solve an organizational rights issue...The union is...disappointed that management chose to take an aggressive stance by refusing to meet with workers to resolve the matter and instead resorted to an illegal lockout with the help of police.
