Ecuador: NGO requested precautionary measures from the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights for a journalist who made accusations of irregularities in contract with PetroChina

According to public allegations in a press conference, journalist Fernando Villavicencio reported that irregular payments in a contract with the Chinese oil company (part of China Petroleum National Corporation) had been caused patrimonial detriment to the nation.  NGOs asked the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights to provide precautionary measures to their right to freedom of expression and that this journalist would not be arrested for revealing data on this transactions.
