EIA Announces Industry Pilot Project for Electronics Recycling

The Electronic Industries Alliance, in cooperation with Canon, Hewlett Packard, JVC, Kodak, Nokia, Panasonic, Philips Electronics, Sharp, Sony, and Thomson, today announced the development of an innovative electronics collection and recycling pilot project. "Our industry is committed to lessening the environmental impact of our products from design to end-of-life. It is critical that we move forward quickly in finding electronics recycling programs that work."
