Environment protection high on companies' agenda [China]

Many of China's biggest companies are intent on improving their environmental standards and practices, according to a survey by World Wildlife Fund (WWF)...The survey showed 22 percent of respondents are implementing tougher environmental standards than legally required, with 13 percent calling for even stricter mandatory rules, which are related mainly to carbon dioxide emissions, pollution and using energy efficient technologies.
