The conference will revolve around the question how the EU’s imminent (legislative) proposal on conflict minerals can have a positive impact on the ground, and in more general terms how responsible sourcing of minerals from conflict areas can generate positive results in terms of long-term stability and development. This conference is organized by the European Network for Central Africa, EurAc, the Belgian Network for Natural Resources (BNNR-RBRN), the Africa Europe Faith and Justice Network (AEFJN) and the Jesuit European Social Center (JESC).
