Event: Banks & Human rights
Marking ten years since the global financial crisis, a new book: "Necessary Evil: How to Fix Finance by Saving Human Rights” by Professor David Kinley investigates the impact the financial system has on human rights. The book explains how to reform finance in ways that will salvage its legitimacy by making finance a friend to human rights, not their enemy.
This event was organized by Business & Human Rights Resource Centre, and kindly hosted by Herbert Smith Freehills.
