Towards human rights due diligence legislation: Expectations of guidelines on respect for human rights

In March 2022, Japan's Ministry of Economy, Trade, and Industry established a study group on guidelines for respecting human rights in supply chains to develop cross-industry guidelines on human rights due diligence. In this momentum, Business &Human Rights Resource Centre, World Benchmarking Alliance and Human Rights Now co-organize a zoom webinar titled “Towards human rights due diligence legislation: Expectations of guidelines on respect for human rights.” The event aims to accelerate discussions on the guidelines and constructive dialogue among stakeholders towards future legislation of the HRDD.
