Date & Time: 30th June 2021, 14:00-15:00 BST / 09:00-10:00 ET

Description: In this webinar, Transparentem and KnowTheChain will focus on corporate efforts to remediate forced labour in apparel and footwear supply chains, including in relation to recruitment fees: by outlining the scale of abuse in apparel supply chains, gaps in companies’ efforts, and examples of remediation. The webinar will include discussion of the findings of KnowTheChain’s 2021 Apparel and Footwear benchmark, which assessed 37 of the largest companies in the sector on their efforts to address forced labour in their supply chains, with a particular focus on its remedy indicator, an area where half of the benchmarked companies scored zero.
