Join us on 29 June 2022 - 10:00-11:00 am BRT / 3:00-4:00 pm CEST

This workshop will focus on what the changing business and human rights legal landscape will mean for legal practitioners, including in-house counsel and external law firms, in Brazil, and what can be done to prepare now.

Following recent legislative developments across Europe, the expectation for businesses to respect human rights under the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights (UNGPs) is continuing to harden. The increase in legislative initiatives in various European countries has culminated with the EU proposal on mandatory due diligence - the Directive on Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence. Brazil is also continuing to expand its policies around business and human rights. Register below to join our expert panel and find out more.
