Verité Forestry Report Launch Webinar: Labor Vulnerability and Environmental Degradation in Forestry and Adjacent Sectors

Co-hosted with the Office to Monitor and Combat Trafficking in Persons, this webinar will present an overview of findings on linkages between environmental degradation and vulnerability to trafficking in persons (TIP) and other abusive labor practices from field studies in Myanmar and Mozambique. Verité researchers will draw from case studies in logging, large-scale agriculture, and road construction to introduce a framework for examining linkages and will discuss methodological insights and recommended next steps for future work
