Hello! Welcome to the Resource Centre.

We hope you find our free tools and resources useful. Did you know we also work directly with community advocates, providing them with the skills and resources to document corporate human rights abuses and effectively communicate with business?

This is only possible through generous donations from people like you.

Please consider supporting our work.

Thank you,
Phil Bloomer, Executive Director

On 24 Sep 2013, the Mexican NGO Proyecto de Derechos Económicos, Sociales y Culturales (ProDESC) published a press release saying that El Ejido La Sierrita community presented documents in a judicial case allegedly proving that Excellon Resources is infringing on their land rights:

El Ejido La Sierrita Presents Proof against Excellon, ProDESC, 24 Sep 2013

We invited Excellon to respond, and it did here (30 Sep 2013).  Together with their response, Excellon sent us the following documents:

- Specific Instance Excellon - Initial Evaluation of the National Contact Point of Mexico Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises of the OECD, Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) 28 Nov 2012

Following this response, ProDESC sent us this rejoinder (2 Oct 2013). Together with their rejoinder, ProDESC sent us the following documents:

- Excerpt of Excellon's response to the Mexican National Contact Point of OECD, 31 Jul 2013 (in Spanish)

- Letter from Excellon to Ejido La Sierrita, 15 Mar 2011 (in Spanish)

- Water study by UNAM, 2 Dec 2010 (in Spanish)

We invited Excellon Resources again to respond to ProDESC's rejoinder.  Excellon sent us a further response which is available here (8 Oct 2013).
