Exco to meet on action over polluted rivers [Malaysia]

The state government will decide on the action to be taken over the polluted Sungai Benus and Sungai Semantot here (Bentong, Pahang State) after all reports have been submitted and discussed at the executive councillors meeting on Wednesday. Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Adnan Yaakob said the Malaysia Newsprint Industries' representatives would also be called to attend the meeting as it was the company's waste which was believed to have caused the pollution.
