Executive Director at Rights & Accountability in Development (RAID)
Patricia Feeney has announced her intention to stand down from her position as Executive Director of Rights and Accountability in Development (RAID) before the end of 2016. The Board of Trustees is seeking a highly qualified applicant to take over the leadership of the organisation and to build on RAID’s outstanding work in the field of business and human rights.
The successful candidate would take over direction of this small but highly effective organisation and s/he would need to have the drive and experience to maintain RAID’s reputation as a major contributor to the business and human rights debate at the international level, the necessary skills to ensure the quality of RAID’s research and the ability to consolidate RAID’s institutional basis through effective fundraising. Given the focus of RAID’s research, applicants would be expected to have experience of working in Africa.
The post will be based in London. The board welcomes applicants from any location, but an existing right to work in the UK would be a precondition.
