Finnfund invites comments on its draft Human Rights Statement; activist group responds

In preparation for publishing its Human Rights Statement, Finnish development finance fund, Finnfund, invited stakeholders to submit comments on its first draft. Activist specialist group Indigenous People and the Earth responded to Finnfund's call, calling for meaningful engagement particularly with indigenous communities and human rights defenders. The group is also calling for more transparency in the trial for the murder of Berta Cáceres for her opposition to the Agua Zarca dam.
