First comprehensive guidance for companies on human rights reporting launches today

On 24 February 2015, the Human Rights Reporting and Assurance Frameworks Initiative, a collaboration between Shift and Mazars, launched the Guiding Principles Reporting Framework:

"The Guiding Principles Reporting Framework is a groundbreaking tool to help companies report meaningfully on their human rights performance. Unilever has already been piloting the Framework during its development. Ericsson, H&M, Nestlé and Newmont are other early adopters who will work with us in 2015 to share their experience with the Framework, and we are already hearing of other companies that plan to start using it this year. The Framework also has the formal support of 67 investors representing $3.91 trillion assets under management worldwide."
