In the run-up to the UN Special Representative on Business and Human Rights, John Ruggie's final report to the Human Rights Council in June 2011, the International Business Leaders Forum (IBLF), in partnership with Clifford Chance, the Equality and Human Rights Commission, and Amnesty International UK is organising Countdown to 2011 a series of multistakeholder events bringing together companies and other key stakeholders in the business and human rights field to debate the practical challenges of operationalising the Protect, Respect and Remedy Framework, discuss the Guiding Principles, and consider feasible scenarios following the end of the UN Special Representative's mandate in June 2011.
