G20 Summits in Russia & OECD report on tax avoidance
Russia hosted the G20 summits in Moscow between 19-20 July and in St. Petersburg on 5 Sept. The issue of corporate tax avoidance was high on the agenda in both summits.
On the occasion of the July G20 summit, the OECD released the "Action Plan on Base Erosion and Profit Shifting" (BEPS), a report commissioned by the G20 group of nations. The report sets out 15 actions the international community needs to take to modernise the tax system and crack down on corporate tax avoidance. Below is a selection of media coverage concerning the G20 summits and the OECD report.
