Since the beginning of its reform and aperture process, the agricultural sector in China has forged increasingly closer relations with global agriculture. Until now, China has established agricultural associations with more than 50 countries and regions, and close to 300 national companies have cooperation projects for the development of agricultural products in 46 countries and regions, including the southeast of Asia, Russia, Latin America and Africa…in the wake of the Belt & Road Initiative and the Silk Road, China will further reinforce its agricultural cooperation with relevant countries in order to form a new pattern in global international agricultural cooperation. It will make countries along the Silk Road participate to enhance their comparative advantages and improve the flow of agricultural products, the efficient use of agricultural resources and the integration of agricultural product markets to accomplish mutual economic benefits and positive developments for all parties.
