The Global Compact today released three good practice notes on human rights. Recently adopted by the Global Compact's Human Rights Working Group, the three notes address the following topics: Developing Corporate Human Rights Policies and the Role of Legal Counsel, Community Engagement and investment to Advance Human Rights in Supply Chains, and Supporting Worker Empowerment - Including Support for Workers’ Assertion of their Human Rights - in the Supply Chain.
