Greenpeace will not attend Annual Meeting of the World Economic Forum

In a letter sent to WEF President Klaus Schwab [by Greenpeace]...reference was made to a joint initiative of Greenpeace and the WEF last year regarding Climate Change at Davos 2001. The CEOs of the automotive industry were invited to discuss the entry into force and the implementation of the Kyoto Protocol on Climate Change, but Greenpeace said that there was no follow up because of lack of co-operation on the part of the WEF.
