Growth should not lead to degradation to ecosystem: Prof Jeffrey Sachs [India]

There is continuous degradation of the ecosystem in India and other countries which is evident from the spread of diseases like AIDS, Avian flu as well as storms like Katrina and Tsunami and this is expected to intensify with countries focussing only on economic growth.
