Health & Energy: Ultra Petroleum

Our 2011 shareholder resolution with Ultra Petroleum requests the company to publish a report on the environmental risks of fracking and policy options the company can adopt to mitigate these risks. 41.7% of investors supported the resolution, in an extremely rare doubling of shareholder support from our filing last year...At the company meeting in Calgary the company refused to announce the vote results and also refused to let shareholders present their resolution, although shareholders are required to do so by the SEC [US Securities & Exchange Commission].
