Hong Kong companies warned of human rights risks

Among the issues looked at were freedom of association, bonded and child labour, and the denial of women’s rights. Hong Kong companies considered by the report’s authors to have exposure to these and other problematic areas of employment include Cathay Pacific, Hutchinson Whampoa, Johnson Electric, HSBC Holdings and CITIC Pacific.
