The Jordanian Society for Human Rights on Wednesday welcomed the government's recent decision to raise the legal age for juveniles working in potentially hazardous conditions from 17 to 18. But the society pointed out in a statement that considerable efforts should be exerted to address the social and health problems caused by child labour.
