...This report analyses the human rights situation and its compliance by the main mining companies operating in Peru's Southern Andean Mining Corridor: the Tintaya Antapaccay mining project of the Glencore mine (Switzerland) in the province of Espinar in the department of Cusco; and the Las Bambas mining project of MMG (China) in the provinces of Cotabambas and Grau in the department of Apurímac, and the province of Chumbivilcas in the department of Cusco....The objective of the report is to make visible the entrepreneurial behavior and its direct effects on the exercise of rights of the population of the areas of influence of the Southern Andean Mining Corridor.
