Indonesia: Report links communism suit against protester to campaign against gold mine; PT Bumi Suksesindo responds

Heri Budiawan faces up to 12 years in jail for allegedly violating Indonesia's anti-communism laws.  According to the report linked below, the case was filed by the then senior manager of external affairs of PT Bumi Suksesindo, a company operating a gold mine in East Java. 

Business & Human Rights Resource Centre invited PT Bumi Suksesindo to respond to allegations made in the report.  Its response is linked below.
