To coincide with the Annual Forum of the United Nations Working Group on Business and Human Rights, the International Council on Mining and Metals (ICMM) and IPIECA, the global oil and gas industry association for environmental and social issues, will collaborate in a special session to assess the broader uptake of the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights within the extractives sector. The meeting will take place on 3 December at the UN Palais des Nations (Geneva, Switzerland).
