Japan: Homeless sue the state over forced expulsion as a result of Olympic construction

A group of homeless persons has brought a case against the government after being forcibly expelled from Meiji park, due to construction of the new Olympic stadium. The group argues that inadequacy of shelters and other facilities means that forced explusion from the park, which had been their de facto home, endangers their survival and is a violation of the right to life.
