Internship at The Danish Institute for Human Rights

The Human Rights and Business Department at the Danish Institute for Human Rights is working strategically to maximize the positive contribution of business in realizing rights and minimizing negative business impacts on human rights.

The Human Rights & Business Department would like a Netherlands based intern assigned with general tasks to join the department on 1 August. The internship is part time and unpaid for a period of 6 months or otherwise negotiated.

You will be working for a total of 25 hours, which should allow you to combine the internship with your studies. The intern will be working for an advisor based in Amsterdam and will work from home or the university with the possibility to work with the advisor in person one day a week.

This internship is linked to the following projects:

  1. The Myanmar Centre for Responsible Business (MCRB) that is an initiative to encourage responsible business activities throughout Myanmar. For more information about MCRB see: www.myanmar-responsiblebusiness.org
  2. Corporate Engagement work
