The Business & Human Rights Resource Centre is at a critical point in its development. Our digital platform is home to a wealth of information on business and human rights, but hasn’t had a visual refresh for a number of years.

We will soon be updating the site to improve its usability and better serve the thousands of people that use our site to support their work.

Paralegal, Human Rights at Leigh Day

We are urgently seeking Paralegals to join our Human Rights Team. These positions will provide a perfect opportunity for Paralegals to develop their experience Human Rights law by working alongside an awarded team on ground breaking cases.

Leigh Day is a leading claimant-only & Trade Union law firm with offices in London and Manchester, specialising in Employment, Personal Injury, Clinical Negligence and Human Rights law. We specialise in the more challenging and complex aspects of Personal Injury, Clinical Negligence and Human Rights. This is a great opportunity to join a vibrant and growing team of partners and staff who are committed to providing justice to individuals.

The Paralegals will be responsible for providing paralegal and administrative support to the team. The role will involve drafting documents, client liaison, research work, general correspondence and administrative support.

Good academic background with legal qualification is a pre-requisite for the role. Experience in an Assistant or Paralegal capacity is an advantage. Any experience of working within Human Rights is desirable but is not essential. What is essential is a commitment to providing first class support to the wider legal team and to our clients. Candidates should be able to deal with clients in an appropriate manner. We are looking for hard-working and proactive individuals who are able to use their initiative. A positive attitude and an active interest in this area of law are essential.

Contract: permanent, full-time position
