Senior CSR Specialist at UNICEF

UNICEF promotes the rights and wellbeing of every child, in everything we do.  Together with our partners, we work in 190 countries and territories to translate that commitment into practical action, focusing special effort on reaching the most vulnerable and excluded children, to the benefit of all children, everywhere.

The UNICEF UK Corporate Partnerships team aims to increase support from the commercial sector, and has been highly successful with significant long-term partnerships with Barclays, Starwood Hotels, M&S, P&G, Manchester United and FTSE among others. As we grow and become more diverse in the way in which we engage with the corporate sector, we are now working towards a more integrated approach to engaging with businesses, leading the way in which we engage with our corporate partners and contacts in differing ways, from direct funding through to programme innovation. We are recruiting a Senior CSR Specialist to lead on devising and delivering this approach.

In this role you will manage and develop both the day to day and the longer term activities required in order to deliver this exciting new strategic direction. You will identify challenges and opportunities across UK businesses, advising companies in best practice when required and working with them to develop industry specific tools and guidance. You will also facilitate a workshop programme to guide and support UK business in the implementation of child focussed CSR and best practice.

To succeed as Senior CSR Specialist, you will need extensive experience of CSR, human rights or children’s rights with corporate engagement and have previously managed high level corporate relationships. You will previously have devised and delivered strategies and business plans and been involved in strategic planning and income/expenditure monitoring.  Commercially aware, you will be able to develop mutually beneficial relationships both within and outside the organisation.
