Jordanian Workers applaud amendments expanding their rights

The amendments to Article 31 of Labour Law have been applauded by the Jordanian Society for Human Rights, which also commended the government's decision to raise the legal age for juveniles working in potentially hazardous conditions from 17 to 18...Hazardous jobs include working in chemical and steel factories, mining and manufacturing.
