The Kenya Red Cross Society and the National Oil Company have set up 700 greenhouses in schools around the country to boost food security…The project is also funded by Anardarko Petroleum, a National Oil exploration partner company working in Lamu. The Kenya Red Cross Secretary General Abbas Gullet said the students particularly in Coast should use the project to improve their education standards and generate and extra income in the schools.
