Kenya: NGOs support court's decision to uphold local govt.'s closure of Bridge International Academies' schools for failure to respect standards

Civil society organisations have termed a court ruling upholding a local government's decision to close Bridge International Schools for lack of compliance with education standards as "landmark". The East African Centre for Human Rights said the ruling demonstrated that "...[c]hildren’s rights are not negotiable, even by powerful international companies".
