Kimberly-Clark wins U.S. chamber corporate citizenship award

Kimberly Clark Corp. received the corporate citizenship award from the U.S. Chamber of Commerce...K-C is the largest single donor to UNICEF’s U.S. fund for its HIV/AIDS initiative, with a pledge of $5.2 million. UNICEF has used the donation to provide 350,000 children orphaned or made vulnerable by AIDS in 24 countries with life-saving supplies and healthcare, education, and skills training. Kimberly-Clark’s donation also supports programs that prevent violence and child exploitation, combat negative social stigmas and discrimination, and encourage HIV testing.
