Landslide investigation slowed at Freeport mine

The most lucrative section of Freeport-McMoRan Copper & Gold Inc.'s massive Grasberg mine in West Papua, Indonesia, will remain closed longer than expected in the wake of last week's deadly landslide...The country's energy minister said the south side of the open-pit mine would be closed for two weeks while government investigators probe the accident that killed two workers and left six missing and presumed dead last Thursday. All of the victims are Indonesian.
