ASICS' statement re tripartite settlement agreement

(Updated October 25, 2025)

ASICS remains firmly committed to respecting internationally recognized human rights and the fundamental right to freedom of association (FOA) throughout our global supply chain.

On September 19, 2025, a tripartite settlement agreement was reached between Wing Star Shoes (WSS), Mr. Chea Chan, and the Cambodian Alliance of Trade Unions (CATU), under the facilitation of the Ministry of Labor’s Dispute Department in Cambodia. This agreement formally concludes the labor dispute between the parties.

On October 1, 2025, the Cambodian Alliance of Trade Unions (CATU) was formally registered and approved by the Labor Bureau, granting it legal status to operate within the factory and expand its membership among workers.

ASICS has maintained continuous engagement and made active efforts with both Wing Star Shoes and Mr. Chan throughout this process, demonstrating our commitment to constructive dialogue, responsible influence, and collaboration with all stakeholders. ASICS welcomes this progress and remains committed to transparency, accountability, and constructive engagement with all stakeholders to ensure the resolution is implemented appropriately and that the rights of all workers are respected and upheld.
