Australia: Anti-Slavery Commissioner invites input into Strategic Plan 2025-2028

"Invitation for Input: Anti-Slavery Commissioner’s Strategic Plan 2025-2028", 7 March 2025

The Australian Anti-Slavery Commissioner is inviting stakeholders to provide input into the development of a Strategic Plan for the Office.

A Strategic Plan is required by the Modern Slavery Act 2018 and will set the direction for the Commissioner in providing national leadership and strengthening work across Government, business, and civil society to prevent and respond to modern slavery.

The Commissioner invites stakeholders to submit written responses in answer to a set of questions that broadly cover:

  • priorities for the Commissioner’s work,
  • principal objectives for priority areas,
  • key actions to take, and
  • measurement of progress.

This is the first stage of a broader consultation process for stakeholders to provide input to the Strategic Plan.

Please consider the information contained in this document and the enclosed template and submit responses to [email protected] by Friday 28 March 2025.
