Brandix response to Asia Floor Wage Alliance and Global Labor Justice-International Labor Rights Forum rejoinder

We stand by the contents of our statement which clearly clarifies all details rather than rely on hearsay.

Below, a few more details on our earlier statement are elaborated:

  • In the documents presented in Court it was noted that the Attorney General stated that considering the evidence of all parties involved in the investigation, there is no evidence that Brandix willfully, carelessly or negligently caused the virus to endanger human life
  • We would like to point out that IFC commissioned a third-party labour assessment at sample facilities of Brandix as part of its investment conditions, wherein it is noted that there were no labour violations with regard to our employees at our factories, and there was no evidence to show intimidation or reprisal on the part of Brandix. IFC however suggested certain improvements, which are being acted upon.
