Cambodia: Over 200 Kuy indigenous people clashed with workers of agriculture company over disputed land; co. did not respond

Over 200 Kuy indigenous people in Preah Vihear province clashed with workers of Santana Agro Products Co. Ltd., an agriculture company reportedly owned by a local official, after allegedly accused of clearing approximately 300 hectors of forest in Chheb district’s two villages since January 2025 without prior warning. The Kuy community members claimed that the disputed land is their farmland and secrete sites. However, local authorities denied the allegations and said that the dispute has been solved.
