We have received reports by Ogonis and other residents of the waterfront around Agip Base (offices) in Port Harcourt...in respect of a seemingly disguised plan by NAOC [Nigerian Agip Oil Company (joint venture Nigerian National Petroleum Company, ENI, ConocoPhillips)] to illegally demolish structures at the waterfront to facilitate its planned expansion of her present offices in readiness for the proposed movement of its headquarters from Lagos to Port Harcourt.
