The Union of Workers of Bepensa Dominicana held a protest in front of the Coca-Coca headquarters in Dominican Republic, claiming abuses of their labour rights. The Secretary of the Union cited labour rights abuses such as censorship and suspension of union leaders, Manuel Familia Garcia, Joan Beltre and Franklin Jimenez. Allegedly the company has been trying to blackmail them in order for them to quit the union and stop the demonstrations.
