Honduras: NGO denounces attack against Tolupan leader in context of land conflict

The NGO, “Movimiento Amplio por la Dignidad y la Justicia” denounced an attack agaisnt the indigenous Tolupan leader, Luis Electerio Mejía, in El Yoro, Honduras. The NGO also denounced the land conflict between indigenous people and farmers allegedly supported by Azucarera del Norte Sociedad Anónima, AZUNOSA, part of Anheuser-Busch In Bev.
